Welp, the packing has begun. This time a little different but also the same. Like almost every where else I’ve lived I’ll miss the little home I’ve created. I’m going to miss my city. Norfolk has grown on me in a way I never would have thought.
Nostalgia squeezes my heart tight as I prepare to leave my fair city. I moved to Norfolk shortly before the pandemic. An opportunity in more ways than one. I grew into me here, made and lost friends, got married here, bought my first home here.
It feels like finishing one chapter to begin the next. I hope this one brings personal and professional growth as well. Wishing everyone the best in the new year!
