In Memoriam: Xena Houdini: Dynamite comes in small packages and you were no different. From your first night you made yourself heard in a much larger world. You informed all your way was the only way. Your best friend was 10X your size but you never seemed to notice. We miss you yelling us awake in the morning so you could have a treat. We miss you dancing when we come home. We miss your tiny nails tapping as you did your perimeter checks throughout the day. We miss your soft snores at night. Rest easy sweet girl. We’ve placed you next to Dude, never far from our hearts or minds.
Adopt, don’t shop: Adopting a dog can be a wonderful way to add companionship, love, and joy to your life while giving an animal a second chance at a happy home. Dogs can encourage you to stay active, provide comfort and companionship, and become an important part of your daily routine. Adoption also helps make room in shelters for other animals in need. Most importantly, when you adopt, you’re not just bringing home a pet—you’re giving a deserving animal a loving family and gaining a loyal friend in return.

Losing our furry friends is the worst. My sympathy goes out to you!
Thank you. Sharing how special she was helps with the grieving process.
