If everyone had a WHY would people make more sense? Sinek and the Heath brothers argue that companies should have clear and “authentic” messaging so consumers know what they’re about. They’ve got me thinking, shouldn’t we all have a personal WHY? An over arching WHY that explains why we do what we do? As actors I guess we’d ask, “What’s my motivation?” Without a personal WHY how do you make sure your professional WHY aligns with your personal? So I’m honing in on my personal WHY. Not as easy as it sounds when you also try and follow Heath’s advice and make it tangible and meaningful. Do you have a WHY? Have you ever thought about it? Maybe it’s time to, or stop to verify your actions align with your WHY.
